Spring is in the Air

Well howdy ya'll!  Spring surely is in the air and I'm LOVING it!!!  Spring is one of my favorite times of year - leaving behind the cold, starting to get a tan...and the END OF SCHOOL!!!  That's right, I said it, the end of school!  This week, I started the ball rolling towards the end of the semester by having my LAST legal rhetoric class - hooray!!!  Legal rhetoric ends a few weeks before your other classes so that you have time to focus on those dreaded exams (now 15 days away!).  It's crazy how quickly the first year has flown by...now if only the next three and a half weeks will fly by as fast, it will be summer time :)

My Legal Rhetoric Section (and professor) post-class celebration!
The only bad part of Spring time?  It's SOOO hard to stay focused and not run away from school to lay out in the Sun...but so far I have resisted...although we did enjoy a nice balance of studying/fun this weekend.  On Friday, we used our personal training consultation that Seth won at our school's charity auction...and apparently we are both in shape :) On Saturday night (since the weather cancelled our other plans to celebrate Marge's birthday - boo!) we went to a going-away party for one of Seth's co-workers.  Today, Seth, Emily (my law school wife), and some other classmates went to watch the Nationals beat the Brewers at some good ol' baseball.  To end our busy weekend, we headed to the dog park with Honey and spent some QT with her and her friends and soaked up some more of this wonderful weather.

Our view of the Nats...look closely for the Washington Monument :)
Anyway, for those of you who may be worried about what appears to be a lack of study, don't worry, I'm just giving up on sleep and replacing that with study time...and so far, it's worked out pretty well :)  For real though, I'm stickin to it and moving right along.  Well, we hope you all have had as good a week as us and look forward to seeing you all soon!  Oh, speaking of seeing you soon, be on the lookout in the next few weeks for a little something special in your mail :)  Til the next time - xo!
